This tutorial will show you how to make a free Minecraft server on the popular server hosting platform Aternos.
To create a server on Aternos for Minecraft Pocket Edition (MCPE), follow these steps:
1. Visit the Aternos website: Go to the Aternos website using your preferred web browser. The website URL is "https://aternos.org".
2. Create an account: If you don't have an account, click on the "Register" button and sign up for a new account. If you already have an account, log in using your credentials.
3. Start creating a server: Once you're logged in, click on the "Create" button to start setting up your server.
4. Select Minecraft Pocket Edition: On the server creation page, select "Minecraft Pocket Edition" as the server type. You may need to scroll down the list of available server types to find it.
5. Customize your server: Configure the server settings according to your preferences. You can set the server name, game mode, maximum player limit, and other options.
6. Choose server version: Select the version of Minecraft Pocket Edition that you want to use for your server. Aternos usually provides several options, including the latest version and older versions.
7. Start the server: Once you've finished customizing your server settings, click on the "Create" or "Start" button to launch your MCPE server. Aternos will take some time to set up and start the server.
8. Wait for server activation: Aternos needs to activate your server before you can start playing. This process may take a few minutes, depending on server demand.
9. Connect to the server: After your server is activated, you'll see the server status as "Online." You'll also find the server address and port displayed on the server page. Take note of this information.
10. Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition: Open Minecraft Pocket Edition on your mobile device or tablet.
11. Add a new server: In the Minecraft main menu, click on "Play" and then select "Servers." Tap on the "Add Server" button to create a new server entry.
12. Enter server details: Provide a name for the server and enter the server address and port that you noted earlier from the Aternos website. Save the server entry.
13. Join the server: Locate the server you just added in the server list and click on it to connect. If the server is online and accessible, you should be able to join and start playing on your MCPE server.
